I am currently working as an analyst in the field of business technology at Sofigate in Finland.
Beside my full-time work, I am finishing my doctoral thesis in music education in the MuTri Doctoral School at the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki, Finland. During my doctoral studies, I have also been a student in International Law and Human Rights minor studies in the Institute for Human Rights, Åbo Akademi University. During 2018 I have been a doctoral exchange student in the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Australia, and in the Royal Northern College of Music, the United Kingdom.

Research interests
My research interests are in the field of higher education, especially experiences of studying in arts education. The title of my doctoral project is Students’ Experienced Workload in Higher Music Education. I have also conducted research on intercultural learning in the visual arts study program.
